What are the Stage Facilities?

Stage Facilities
Dimensions
Approx 8m from side wall to side wall, Stage left to stage right Approx 3.5 metres from the front of the standard stage to the back wall

Stage Extension
This adds on approx. 1.5 m to the front of the stage, the main part of this is 4m wide but two triangular pieces can be added to either side so that extends the full width of the stage.

Steps
There are two permanent stairs from the hall floor to the height of the stage to either side wall
There is also a set of treads that can be positioned as required

Curtains
These are permanently in place and are operated from a winder on the Down stage left wall
There are also 6 off black fabric legs that can be hung either side to act as masking and also 6 off solid masking flats if required.

Stage drapes
There is a white cyclorama that can be hung from a bar to the rear of the stage and also a set of black drapes. Also, a couple of black fabric borders that are hung to mask lighting bars above the stage

Flying facilities
There are some limited flying facilities above the stage which can lift items above the stage, unfortunately there is not really enough height to raise most things out of sight, but the lines can be used for smaller things. Each flying bar is flown on two sash lines up to the roof through pulleys and eventually tied of on a cleat line on the wall to stage left. Advice is essential if it is intended to try to fly anything

Note: these flying lines are for lighter items only they are not intended for heavy scenery

Back Stage access to the stage
There are sliding doors on the back wall one either side giving access to the backstage area – the Committee room/Green Room/dressing room and another set of doors positioned in the centre of the back wall.

Lighting
The lighting consists of two bars of LED lights above the stage, one upstage of the curtain line and one approx. on the centre stage line.
There is a set of LED ground row lights that can light the cyclorama if required.
Front of House there is one lighting bar with LED lights approx. 5 metres from the front of the stage and two vertical lighting bars on the same line but on the side walls.
The incoming mains is on the wall of the stage down stage left and control cables are installed to enable lighting control from the back of the hall – More details of lighting are available.

Sound
There is an amplifier mounted high on the wall down stage right. Above the stage are three microphones to relay sound from the stage to the dressing rooms. There is also a microphone and stand stored in a cupboard in the dressing room which can be plugged into a socket either down stage left or right which operates through two speakers on the main hall walls.

Dressing rooms
As well as the Committee room there is another dressing room with mirrors and lighting.
